The electronic fuel injection (EFI), the cars could be flow sensor or air flow meter air flow restriction of the air, depending on the type of airflow sensor is used. There are three types of air flow sensors used in car engines:

HOT AIR FLOW MASS SENSOR WIRE

ECU calculates the air flow, how much and how fast the shutter swings open, and therefore, the ECU may need to reschedule. However, the flap never fully achieve open before the air-flow peak is reached ECU would not be able to read air flow increases when the shutter is fully open. No amount of reprogramming the ECU will increase fuel consumption, if it is unable to detect an increase in airflow.

AIRFLOW VORTEX SENSOR KARMEN

Karmen vortex type air flow sensor used my Mitsubishi is a flow sensor that measures the vibration of the oscillating air vortices downstream caused by the barrier placed in the airflow. These air flow sensors represent the largest restriction of airflow, and are more difficult to adapt for better air circulation. Some tuners use a bypass around the air flow sensor, but is terrible for modified road cars, like the flow of air around the air flow sensor at rest and cruise.

The best solutions in these engines is very expensive. It consists of an air inlet plate controlled by a second secondary regulation, a map and the secondary injectors ECU controls. The secondary branches of air into the air intake pipe after the air flow sensor. Under normal conditions, the flow of air through the vent and actions through the air flow sensor, but under heavy acceleration and high speeds, the secondary accelerator is opened by a switch sensitive to magnetic pressure to allow the air through the secondary air system. ECU controlled A MAP sensor is used to provide extra fuel through a set of secondary fuel injectors.
