Chevrolet trucks from 2011 to mid-size Colorado, with a wide range of models, configurations and propulsion systems-including a supply of 5.3 V-8 power that allows a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds (2,721 kg) . It delivers 300 horsepower (224 kW) and 320 lb.-ft. of torque (434 Nm).

Colorado lineup includes robust and reliable Work Truck and LT models (with complete equipment 1LT, 2LT and 3LT) Regular Cab configurations and crew, and 2WD and 4WD. Transfer engine torque to the axles is a Colorado Aisin five-speed manual or a Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. The manual gearbox is standard with four-cylinder engine – except Crew Cab models, where it is unavailable. The automatic transmission is standard with the five-cylinder engine and V-8, and is available with four-cylinder (standard with Crew Cab models).

Colorado system with four-wheel drive inspires confidence to the driver. The instrument panel-mounted electronic “shift on the fly” allows the driver to shift the rear-wheel drive at any speed when road conditions demand a change.
