Concluding diesel lineup is the BMW X1 xDrive23d powered by a 4-cylinder diesel engine with the BMW Turbo TwinPower can produce 204-hp with maximum torque of 295 lb-ft. 0-62 mph in just 7.3 seconds with fuel economy estimated at 37 mpg.

The petrol model is only offered in the 2011 X1 is BMW xDrive28i. Power comes from a gasoline engine 3.0 straight-six making 258 horsepower and peak torque of 228 lb-ft. 0 to 62 mph in just 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 127 mph. Fuel economy is estimated at 25 miles per gallon.

Inside, the BMW X1 has a high seating position and design of the cab driver and BMW iDrive is installed in combination with the optional navigation system.
