2011 New Scion TC GReddy for SEMA Lineup Highlights
The Scion has just released a series of official pictures of his car SEMA 2010, and while there’s the usual selection of over the top creations were happy to see a few cars were actually enjoy driving.
Topping the list is changing the 2011 Scion tC GReddy, with a turbocharger that the company refers to itself as a “prototype”, meaning that it goes on sale in the near future. This means that owners will be able to belt 340 horsepower and 325 lb – ft of torque with a “simple” change. Of course, there is much more work under the hood than that. coilovers Other mods, a five – axis aerodynamic kit, TRD Brakes, Volk Racing wheels G2 and even a good set of Sparco seats.
The next will be the tC Tuner Challenger car by John Pangilinan, who also comes with a turbo under the hood. The main feature of this car must be Jon Sibal custom carbon fiber wide body kit and even get a tC Seibon carbon fiber trunk and hood. Of course there are the obligatory Rays wheels, measuring 10.5 inches wide, with an upgraded Brembo big brake.
Crawford Performance also built a custom design for Time Attack tC career. No mention of exactly what engine modifications have been made, but we’re sure Crawford will not disappoint. With a racing livery, Advan usual 18 – inch wheels, Tein coilovers and TRD big brake kit.
Other highlights include a section Cartel xB, a meeting on the issue by 0 – 60 xD and xB Sparco Magazine and very original Salty Dogs.
Each year, Scion is hosting a Challenger at the SEMA tuner, where shops are competing for awards of recognition and money by building a show car ultra – wild SEMA. The competition this year includes 2011 – TC and includes entries by James Lin, John and Shawn Baker Pangilinan. The winner will be picked up at SEMA and we will not realize who he is.
