Proton Saga Launched 1.3L FLX: Drive Using The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Technology
The Proton Holdings Berhad has launched the new Proton Saga 1.3L FLX today, a new model to improve its model of Proton Saga, which offers consumers a big saving in fuel consumption and driving experience with the use Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) technology.
The Proton Saga is the best-selling model in Malaysia from January to June 2011, will contribute to the overall market leader in Malaysia, Proton half before 2011. After the introduction of a new Proton Saga generation has been well received by the audience award for Best Model of Frost & Sullivan’s 2009 best year of tires for passenger cars in 2010, and recently the best people, Prix car – the highest award important for the Asian Auto – Auto Industry Awards 2011. Coach has an excellent sales record, exceeding 250,000 units registered and logged more than 300,000 units since its launch in January 2008 to June 2011.
The FLX series 1.3L is the latest variant of the 2011 best-selling model in Malaysia Proton engineers have successfully integrated the engine with CVT transmission CAMPRO, offering customers a new transmission option is proven to help reduce fuel consumption and also provide a smoother operation.
“The new Proton Saga FLX is a product of the continued commitment to providing protons cars better performance for our customers. This is another milestone in our efforts to continuously improve our product range to meet the needs of today’s market, “said Dato ‘Sri Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, MD Proton Holdings Berhad Group.
He said that the CVT, Saga FLX is the fuel consumption, which is less than 4% (compared to the traditional 4-speed automatic), urban environment, driving environment, and up to 10 percent lower on the highway. “This move changes to improve ride and responsive, without compromising the car’s power,” he added.
The new FLX 1.3L Executive saga comes with a list of value-added features including driver and passenger airbags with antilock brakes (ABS) that includes Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) to stop the most stable.
