Here are a 2011 Volkswagen NILS Concept for enthusiasts cars. Volkswagen comes fully equipped with the concepts of Frankfurt this year. The small car, Volkswagen will debut notion NILS public in Frankfurt this month. It aims to provide a sports car like performance with zero emissions and quiet propulsion. This is designed for single use, allowing designers to redo a smaller size of Volkswagen new NILS Concept single seat.
Volkswagen says NILS concept was designed as a competitor in Formula 1. Just like the Audi Urban Concepts, a single seat is installed in the center of the car, motor home only after the driver and 17-inch wheels. Use a digital display to convey information to the driver, and a simple two-spoke steering wheel has buttons for the hands-free telephone and cruise control. Moreover, despite its compact size, Volkswagen promises that the concept meets all the safety requirements of modern vehicles.
NILS is powered by an electric motor of 15 kW – 25 kW with an additional boost to the function – which causes the juice of a 5.3 kWh lithium-ion batteries. VW says it allows a wide range of nearly 40 miles, and can be recharged from a 230 volts (the standard in Europe) in about two hours. According to Volkswagen, 73.9% of German travelers within 15.5 miles of road to works, so that the size and NILS range ideal for commuters. The connector port is on the back in the backlight module. The NILS only weighs 1014 pounds, thanks to all aluminum construction and is expected to accelerate 0-62 mph in less than 11 seconds. NILS Volkswagen concept looks great and very pleasant to be and everything. Now all we need is for Volkswagen to produce, but as the concepts of efficiency have been demonstrated previously, this could be an illusion.
