2012 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor APV – 575 SuperCharged
2012 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor APV starts at about $150,000 and go up to $250,000.
This is 2012 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor AVP. You knew someone would apply the VelociRaptor moniker to Ford’s 2011 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew performance truck. That someone is Hennessey Performance of Texas, which has turned the long-wheelbase Ford into an armored-protection vehicle that will be available as a 2012 model.
Hennessey has set out to correct this starting with the 2012 Hennessey VelociRaptor APV. In addition to heavy armor protection at the highest levels, Hennessey will apply their tuning experience to enhance the already powerful Ford Raptor Super Crew (series: 411 hp/306 kW/417 PS). With the addition of a supercharger, the 6.2-liter V8 produces 575 hp. However, that’s not the limit. 2012 Hennessey VelociRaptor APV can take that power output up to 800 hp if the client desires.
“The 2012 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor APV will showcase the highest level of protection, comfort and performance all in one vehicle,” John states. This vehicle will be produced in limited quantities; about 50 will be made each year, said company owner John Hennessey. The nonarmored VelociRaptor SUV will start at about $150,000 and go up to $250,000 depending on power level and interior and electronics upgrade options, Hennessey said. The armoring will add another $100,000 to $200,000 depending on the level of protection.
