2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hatchback a Four-Cylinder Turbo Engine
2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback is less thrilling than the concept model.
Will the presence of 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback has now begun, and within a few days last picture for the new Mercedes-Benz hatchback has been recorded in the spy photographers or spy shots. In the picture, the 2012 A-Class prototype appears in black with camouflage less. Mercedes-Benz is busily pushing development of the company’s new A-Class hatchback, and our spy photographers have managed to click a few photos of two vehicles out for a little winter testing. The small five-door is reportedly headed to the U.S. market once it receives an official unveil, though there’s no telling whether or not the AMG version we spied back in August will make the journey across The Pond as well.
These new shots show off a vehicle that’s ditched much of is camo cladding. As a result, we now see the five-door will look very similar to the renderings that surfaced earlier this year. The corporate Mercedes-Benz grille and pronounced nose will tag along on the A-Class, as will a high beltline and some rather funky side mirrors. It’s unclear exactly which drivetrain options will show up once the vehicle lands stateside, however.
Were we to guess, we’d say a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine isn’t a bad bet? The latest B-Class will also lend its powerplants to the 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback including a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline four-pot in 122HP and 156HP guises, and a 1.8-liter common rail turbodiesel with 109HP and 136HP. A 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline unit producing around 200-horses and a high performance version developed by AMG featuring a four-cylinder turbo engine with close to 300 ponies will follow down the line. Although the patent images show that the 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback is less thrilling than the concept model, but overall, it remains relatively the same to the concept model.
From what we see in the patent images, it seems Mercedes-Benz had ditched most of the extreme designs in 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback, noticeably are the gone of deep creases and the psychedelic, messed front grille. The nickname for the AMG model of the A-Class has also been prepared which is A25. So we expected to be patient to wait for the new variant of the Mercedes-Benz.
We hope you enjoyed this 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hatchback article!
