As the 2012 Olympics approaches MINI has used the opportunity to promote its sponsorship with a couple of new special editions that are inspired by the event’s host. The MINI Baker Street & Mini Cooper Bayswater Special Edition both get there names from the famous London streets and receive an array of exclusive trimmings. What better reason to rush out to your local MINI dealer and blow your life savings on a car package with logos in their honour. The Mini Baker Street features a Rooftop Grey metallic paint scheme with black roof, black hood stripes and 16-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels painted gloss black. The interior gets new seat material with contrast stitching, as well as the Chrome Line package and the Pepper Pack of Mini Cooper Bayswater Special Edition.
Optional exterior colors include Pepper White and Midnight Black. It is recognisable by its Kite Blue metallic paint with blue and grey Sport Stripes on the bonnet and its 17-inch light alloy ‘Sandblast’ wheels. Pricing for the Mini Cooper Bayswater Special Edition starts at £18,565 (OTR).
