The Tripple X gets an aero body kit that bundles a new front bumper with large air intakes and a front splitter, wider fenders, side skirts and an oversize carbon-fiber rear wing. In addition to all of these, TIKT also improved the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 by TIKT cooling system, making it even more efficient than before. The suspension has been lowered 2.0 inches in front and 1.2 inches in the rear, and has been fitted with racing shocks, massive brakes and Zerra Ultralight Evo 2 alloy rims. Of course, 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 by TIKT all that extra show doesn’t mean much if there’s no extra go to go with it. And boy is there more to go.
Thanks to a reprogrammed ECU, an upgraded supercharger, a low-restriction exhaust system, and a new camshaft, cylinder heads, valve springs and throttles body. Under the hood, the big boasting of an LS9 6.2-liter V8 engine also has been overhauled, with modified heads, cams, valve springs, cooling and exhaust, among other tweaks. The result is an increase in output to 785 horsepower and torque to 716 pound-feet. In addition, the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 by TIKT comes with a 50 mm lowered suspension on the front axle and 30 mm on the rear axle.
Other modifications include lightweight alloy wheels and racing shock absorbers. Most tuners don’t have these Jiminy Crickets holding them back, meaning they can unleash that extra potential. And German tuner 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 by TIKT Performance is doing exactly that with the Corvette ZR1 based Triple X.
