2011 Renault Laguna will feature Euro 5 engines and lower CO2 on all engines.

Renault has released images of its revised Renault Laguna hatchback and Sports Tourer wagon ahead of their official unveiling at the upcoming 2010 Paris Auto Show. The Renault Laguna lift-back and Sports Tourer will both be getting a little work done before they are displayed at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September. The new versions will go on sale across Europe in November. The interior also appears to benefit from a subtle refresh, with the model shown in the images scoring a stitched dashboard and soft-touch textures. Renault Laguna will confirm the full list of upgrades at the vehicle’s launch.

What it has already confirmed is that the brand’s 4Control four-wheel steering system will become available on the 110kW diesel and 125kW petrol models, while a cleaner 1.5-litre 82kW diesel engine – which emits 120g/km CO2 – will join the European line up of Renault Laguna. Indeed, equipped with the 4Control chassis with four-wheel steering, New Renault Laguna‘s turning circle is 10 per cent smaller than it is with two wheel steering, i.e. just 10.80 metres with 18-inch wheels – the same as a Clio! – compared with 12.05 metres. The greater the rear-wheel steering angle, therefore, the smaller the turning circle. This enhanced manoeuvrability is especially welcome in tight parking situations and along narrow city streets. The dynamic, quiet and smooth 16-valve 2.0-litre petrol engine (M4R) delivers maximum power of 140hp (103.4kW) and peak torque of 195Nm.

And following the new Euro5 emissions standards set, the new Renault Laguna will feature Euro 5 engines and lower CO2 on all engines (including the dCi 110 which emits 10 grams of CO2 less than the previous model). The 2011 Renault Laguna gets a new face, with revised headlamps, grille and bumper. Among the features are 4Control four-wheel steering, Bose audio and Carminat TomTom Live navigation.
