In China, there are three variants of the Livina (known as Li Wei of China) sales – there are seven seater Livina Geniss (Grand Livina), crossover Livina C-Gear (Livina X-Gear) and a standard five-seater Livina. There is no hiding now, as we had a picture directly from Auto Shanghai 2013.
Interior and Exterior
Inside, it appears that the Livina facelift retains the familiar dashboard layout and design, but with a new steering wheel design and a chrome border calling for housing. The 2-DIN head unit looks like a regular Nissan stuff at a glance, but the design is more fresh. Like most cars in China, there is a sunroof.
On the exterior, fresh MPV gets revised front fascia. Compared to current Livina, headlights are now in the shape of a triangle, while the chrome grill in sweeping V-shape with a flat bottom. The back has a long tail lights who packed into a tailgate.

But note that this is for the Livina Chinese market. Driven by sheer volume of China’s car market, the distributor in China often have special arrangements with the head of manufacturing, the settings are not available for Asian countries.
The Almera Institute the Chinese market is a good example. China was the only market in Asia to receive the HR15DE engine Almera Institute 1.5 liter paired with CVT, while the rest of the Asia-Pacific region adopted the same engine had to make do with four-speed automatic. In ASEAN (and Australia) is locality Almera Institute, CVT is the only set of conditions can be fitted with three small cylinder engines 1.2 liters.
The green machine is called C-Gear Livina, MPV basically okay with plastic cladding armor to protect it from scratches if you want to take a dirt road. But ignoring the black bits and you see the new, large triangular headlights and grilles. There is a change in the rear as well, where the tail lights have been changed from high to long.
Strangely, the Chinese media also listed Livina facelift to have a longer body, 33 mm length, 4 mm wider and 10 mm taller for the crossover C-Gear (X-Gear) model. But this is most likely the Chinese market only and not likely to be shared with our ASEAN model.
